replay A/V works ok in firefox, but not in Chrome

in Firefox I have no problem using the recording wizard, the Applian driver seems to work fine - in Chrome stream capture is fine but there's nothing through the recording wizard, the audio line on screen doesn't move, and of course there's nothing recorded. It does work if I switch from the Applian driver to what appears in Spanish as "volumen general", but the sound quality is much worse.

Any obvious solutions I have missed?

This is due to how Chrome handles audio. You will need to use Firefox for audio capture with AV.
