RVC ads garbage to bottom of scrn and window in window at top

I just upgraded to version 5 from version 4. The recordings I've made have been adding garbage to the bottom of the screen and what looks like a window of the movie in the recording so that it looks like PIP (picture in picture). I'm using windows 7 and had no problem with RVC 4.

I don't see any settings that would act like this.

Any Ideas?

I am not getting that. Maybe you have not defined the recording area correctly.
