Helloooooo

I am probably doing something wrong, but, I just can't figure what it is.

I was doing a test screen capture off a web site, but just like youtube it did not want to record the actual small video display window, it wanted to record whe Whole web page

Any suggestions at all.

I am using MPEG2, and have tried the "Basic" settings in the options window of RPVC.

Thanks.

It is capturing what it sees on the screen. Please move the red and blue markers to the top left and bottom right. it will set the window you want to record

Hi.

Sorry, but even with "Set top screen" selected in the options it is Still trying to record the whole window instead of just the one I want which is smaller and in the middle of the window?

Any other suggestions?

Thanks.

Hello.

Just an up-date for you.

I have uninstalled the old version, and installed the Latest version. It's still the Same result.

If I press the "Set window" button, I can see the small or tiny green marker, but the main bar is still all the way round the big screen. it will NOT allow me to record the smaller screen. Whats the problem here?

Thank you.

Hi.

Another up-date for you.

I am attaching a screen shot of what the problem is

I have shown that I can select and grab the left hand side small square coloured selection icon, but for the life of me I Cannot even find the other right hand corner icon to drag it to size.

What do you suggest?

Thanks

When you launch RVC you should see two small squares (markers), one red and one blue just above a small circle marked "Show markers". Click and drag the blue marker to the topmost left corner of the area of the screen you wish to capture; do likewise with the red marker on the bottom right corner of the area of screen to be captured. The green demarcation area will then show the full area to be captured.
