(I am reposting this here as a new thread instead of a reply to an old thread.)
I am using Replay 4 for recording Rhapsody. The sound recordings were not great with Replay 3, but now they're even worse with Replay 4. There are crackles & stops & starts. I tried disabling auto tagging, but that didn't help. Now what?

Make sure you have all the codecs for your system. I personally use k-lite as it is free and easy to find on the Internet. Also, are you getting the crackling in the file you recorded or in the file that it is recording from? Make sure the program is allowed in your firewall. Also, do a fresh boot of your computer prior to recording,.

Same issues here, running Win7. Just made the switch from Napster to Rhapsody and trying to work out the bugs. Downloaded the k-lite codecs referenced below, check all settings and still no luck. Have tried with RM v4.05and v4, no success.

What browser are you using? Are you using the web based version or the standalone player. Try the other one to see if it works better for you.
