Splitting Single Tracks on Windows Media Player?

I have some "albums" that are recorded on Windows Media Player as a long single track in mp3 format. Is there any way that I can play these through Replay Music, using the automating splitting capabilities of Replay Music to split this into its multiple tracks corresponding to each song?

It is going to depend on what version of windows you are using. Our program will not record from windows media with Vista or windows 7 due to DRM. If you are able to use a different player you would be able to give it a try. In order to tag you need to have a definitive silence between tracks and it can't fade in and out.
