program won't download from any sites i try

i just installed replay media catcher and i click record and it doesn't record from any sites i try. i've tried youtube in both IE and Firefox and nothing works.
i've uninstalled and reinstall and nothing works.
tried disabling firewall too and still no luck

any ideas?

What operating system are you using? Also, are you logged into the PC with full admin rights?

im using windows xp logged in as admin.
