Oh Drat - No it isn't ..... does anyone have any ideas how to solve this problem - it starts to play the track but because the opening riffs stop twice before the song gets going RM deletes them.

See what happens when you adjust the volume. Have it go lower as that might work with this song.

adjusting the volume doesn't help - the only way I find is to switch off the auto split feature when it happens and re-record. It's not a major thing, apart from that the software is superb. The best I have used to date........Thanks Cheryl.

So what is the issue exactly?...

If you are familiar with the song it starts off with 2 quick guitar riffs lasting about 2 seconds each. when in auto split mode those first 2 guitar riffs get cut off . All I do is re-record the song with auto split switched off. It's not a major problem but obviously I'd prefer to use the software with auto split switched on.

I think I have solved the problem finally - I have moved the volume level cut off to 3 and it has also stopped faded intros from missing the first few seconds and similarly on faded endings where the recordings were stopping too early.

Thanks for sharing your solution. It helps others when they also have a problem.
