View Full Version : Cannot install latest version of Replay Media Catcher

I bought a laptop used and I see there is a demo version 3.11 already installed on it, but when I try and upgrade the installer stops and says older version cannot be uninstalled.
I checked the registry and I seen some keys for version 4, I called the previous owner of the laptop and he said he tried to install version 4 but failed, he then tried to revert back to the older version but ran into uninstall problems, so he then deleted the applian folders manually in "proram files" then he said he ran a reg fix and deleted all the "dll's" that it found, he then said he reinstalled the older trial version of 3.11.

So now I think I have remnants of the old failed upgrade albeit with missing dll's and I cannot either downgrade or upgrade to the latest version.
Any ideas on how to either upgrade or completely remove and reinstall.
By the way the demo version of 3.11 works, but as I said I cannot upgrade.
