Movie streamed with RTMPE so suggestion is to use RVC. Did that just fine and stored a large, playable movie on computer.

Used Replay Converter to convert to avi format so I could feed this into Replay Media Splitter to remove commercials. Again, avi file appears to run just fine on computer. So final step to play on TV via a USB flash or drive is to convert to avi(Xvid) format. This works great and allows me to watch a movie before burning to DVD.

However, with encrypted movies this process seems to break down. The avi(Xvid) file is all garbled when played from the USB flash drive on my TV DVD player. It appears there is still some encryption - yet doing a screen video copy should have eliminated this I would think. Any suggestions?

See what happens when you convert it to a different file format.

Got it to work. Converted to mp4 and then to AVI, and plays just fine on USB drive. Thanks.
