Problems with Forced Shutdown

Hi friends,
I am a new user of Replay Media Catcher 4. I am using it to capture bird calls that I can play on the web. The first time I used it it went fine. But when I tried to record a second bird call, it didn't work and when I clicked on In Progress, under Status it says Forced Shutdown. This seems to be what is preventing further recording. What causes this and what can I do to fix the problem?
