View Full Version : WMV to MPG Conversion

Hi,

I am using Replay Converter 3.0.5 to convert WMVs to High Quality MPGs (I use the MPEG-2 (DVD-PAL) High Quality(2000 Kbps) option.

I should probably note that these are not DRM'd WMVs

When I convert them to MPGs the conversion process takes about 30 minutes (it previously took about 15 to 20 minutes) and the output MPG is an Elementary stream and not a Transport or Program stream (i.e I have the video but no audio).

This has worked fine previously, nothing has been changed on the system (no new codecs, or software installed - other than the necessary MS Updates as they come out)

I have installed the converter on 2 other PCs and had the same issue - i.e that the output MPG is an ES not TS or PS.

I've been loving Replay Converter 3 and this has been the only "niggle" ..

Thanks in advance for your assitance.

Mark.

I believe the developer has requested the file from you to test. Let us know the outcome. Thanks.

Cheryl,

the developer has indeed and I have sent him the necessary files.

(The above was posted before I emailed, I didn't realise this wasn't an official support route.)

I will update the forum as I get information :)

Replay Converter 3.11 has resolved this issue.

Many thanks to Mike & Cheryl for sorting this out for me :)
