I want to record a portion of a DVD. I have tried with Replay Video Capture but all I get is the audio.
Any clues?

If you are using XP you might need to turn your hardware acceleration off. The directions in the settings direct you as to how to do this. Also, try playing the video with a different player.

Some DVD players including Windows Media Player, PowerDVD and others do not allow access to the portion of the screen where the DVD is played (some but not all Windows XP computers). Disabling hardware acceleration does not work and some of these programs may not even function when this is done. Replay Video Capture and WM Capture will record a black window in this case. The only solution to this problem is to use a DVD Player that does not block the screen. For example, the \"AV DVD Player Morpher\" which can be downloaded from the link below

It should play it back for you without a problem. Please try it one more time. Do a small test recording to make sure it is working for you.
