Strange thing started occurring just today. I record several shows from XM regularly and convert them for importing to itunes. For all recordings today, only 1.5 minutes was captured and imported. It appeared that AV8 was running for the entire length of the shows but only short stubs made it to itunes. Any thoughts Cheryl?

Interesting we have the exact same issue and posted within a few minutes of one another. I'll keep you posted if I find a resolution.

Just got home to transfer Replay AV recordings to my iPod and I have got the exact SAME issue. As with the original post, it appears the entire show was recorded but only 1:31 transferred to iTunes.

Exact same problem here, it started a few days ago, everything I record from a stream & convert to MP3 is 1:31 long, podcasts download fine.

We are aware of this issue and hope to have it fixed in the next couple of days. The converter will convert as a separate file. Please open up Replay Converter and do a conversion that way until we get this resolved. Thanks for your continued patience.

mine has started working again after one day; request the moderator/expert provide an explanation of what happened to satisfy our curiosity and so we can gain an insight into this highly confusing technology. thanks

AV8 failed to record, partially recorded or split the file for no apparent reason on: Dec 31, Jan 21, Jan 28 , Feb, 23, Mar 25, April 26, May 14, Jun 3, Jun 8, Jun 24, and Jun 25.

But yesterday (Jun 30, 2010) it only recorded a 1:30. Today (Jul 1, 2010) it didn't record anything.

Was running 8.75, Now running 8.81

Cheryl above said, "The converter will convert as a separate file. Please open up Replay Converter and do a conversion that way until we get this resolved." Unfortunately, the "Keep Copy of Original File After Converting" button was not checked so there is nothing to convert, if it was even captured at all.

I'm beginning to lose confidence in Replay A/V.

We had some issues with the server that caused this. It should now be working for you. Sorry for the confusion with this.

Not working again. Worked Thursday evening and Friday morning. Show recorded at 7 pm on 101 Friday night converted to 1:30 mp3. Manually converted asf using convert/transfer feature. Got another 1:30 mp3. Had to open the windows media audio/video file version in wavepad and save as mp3. That did the trick.

We thought it was fixed but apparently it is not working. The developer is working on this. In the meantime please record and convert as two separate steps. Do the recording without converting. Then open up the converter as a standalone program and do the conversion. Thanks for your patience as we work on this.

Wish I'd seen this before I reformatted & reinstalled everything. Funny thing is, it worked. Coinky?...maybe. Anyway, I lost a "custom" URL I had for KRLA & KCBQ...anyone here have it???

What do you mean by "custom" URL?

Have you checked KRLA & KCBQ in the Replay Media Guide?

We had a server issue this morning that I believed caused this issue. Please try again. If you do continue to have a problem please send a ticket to tech support.

It's still happening off and on. It impacted 1out of 3 of my recordings yesterday (8/7) and one this morning. Cheryl, what is the issue and why can't you find a permanent fix? I guess the solution is to do a manual convert and itunes import until you can convince us you've fixed it. I'm missing too many programs. Luckily, many of the shows I record are aired multiple times so I can still catch them but it's a labor intensive effort.

I'm not able to duplicate your issue at all. The developer is aware of your problem. If you continue to have a problem pleasse submit a tech support ticket and also send us the log files for both AV and for the converter. Thanks. Do make sur eyou are using the latest version of the program.

this is now happening again; i do not understand what makes this happen and previously asked for a courtesy explanation to help me understand what causes this but did not receive a reply; i am now assuming that this is not a stand alone program and is controlled from a central location. in any case i hope the techs are working on this and maybe we can now have an explanation on why this happens.

I've had this same issue. It says it's captured the two hours and saves but only 1:30 is actually recorded. How do I do a ticket log? I've never done one of those.

And the past two days or so when I click to start capturing, it takes a really long time to start recording. like over 40 seconds which is not normal. I have a fresh reboot and good ram on my computer too.

Yup, it started here again 2 days ago, if I have a show recorded in 3 1 hour parts at least 2 of them will be 1:31 long...

Very frustrating.

We have a brand new version that we just uploaded today. Uninstall both AV and Converter. Reboot. Now, download and install this. In testing it is working great.

I AM GETTING REALLY ANNOYED NOW!!! I followed your instructions, deleted my current replay & converter and downloaded the latest versions. Now I can't convert to MP3 - it's all MP4 Itunes or video.

GRRRR!!!!!!!!

Did you add MP3 to the choices of converting. Use the drop down menu on the converter and select to add more formats if you don't see what you want.

Did this ever get resolved? I've been having the same problem for the last 2 weeks.

Replay converter says logfile says "User has registered version".

What is the fix?

I'm running Replay A/V 8 (8.83) and replay converter 4.10 dated 3-23-2011
