I have some unprotected MP4 video files that I download from the Internet from which I am able to extract the audio track. They are AAC files, and they are extracted with a .aac extension. (Apprarently Replay Splitter does not work with these types of video files, so I have to use a freeware utility.) The objective is to save the AAC files, since they are much smaller in size than extracting them as wave files, but they need to be converted to other formats for burning to a CD. The utility will extract them as wave files, but then I have to delete the wave file and then re-extract the audio as an AAC file.

The desired procedure is to extract as AAC, convert to wave, burn to CD, and delete the wave file. Can Replay Converter be used for any part of the AAC conversion?

The converter is able to convert from an AAC file. Here is a link to the various formats our program can convert to and from: http://www.applian.com/replay-converter/index.php
