Windows 7 Issues - Hearing music signal

So I've tried many of the Vista tricks on Windows 7... And I can get Replay Music to pick up the audio signal from IE or Firefox, but not from Napster (primary audio source). Any tips or tricks?

You can record from Napster only if you use a web-based client.

Yeah, I got that to work on the browser... but the browser version is painful to use. I dont' understand why it won't work with the software version of Napster on Windows 7?
