View Full Version : Not catching YouTube...or anything else

Over the past few weeks, Replay Media Catcher has been hit and miss on capturing video, and now it won't capture from YouTube.

I'm overseas, and the video often doesn't stream well, plus it's coming through a VPN, so catching it is preferable to recording it.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

YouTube has changed the way it streams videos, but Repay Media Catcher 3.11 can perfectly download them:

Its Video History Tool also works just fine with YouTube.

Thanks, but I used to be able to start a download, then turn off the video on the website, and Catcher would continue downloading.

Does that no longer work?

As I said above, I don't have highspeed internet, and watching a video stop and start every 10 seconds ain't too fun.

It still works like that. Unless you uncheck the HTTP plug-in and use the WebStreamDumper instead of it.

I have the same problem--it used to work, now it doesn't.

I did an upgrade of my virtual machine (VMWare inside my Mac) and it just flat out won't record, anymore.

I have done all the stuff suggested by the "troubleshooting" section of the support page and even done a complete re-install.

Nada.

Ideas?

Thanks

Do you launch your web-browser from Replay Media Catcher?

What guest OS do you use?

Have you tried to record from Firefox or Opera web-browsers?
