View Full Version : File Limit on Download
For some reason, when I'm recording a flash program, and the file gets to 49+ megs, the file stops recording and it has the little checkmark next to it to indicate complete.
I deleted the temp IE files. Still, the problem. Any ideas?

Have you payed the file back?
Yes, the file will play back in its recorded entirety, but it automatically stops at 49 megs, no matter what I try to record.

Are you saying that no matter what you record from any site that it always stops at exactly the same size? Send me a link to one video in question. Thanks.
VERY good point. I went to FoxNews.COM and could download way past the 49 meg limit. Here is the link for what I am trying to record:

Thanks so much.

I tested this file and the finished size of the file is 49.05mb. This is the entire video. If you play it back you will find that you have downloaded the video in its entirety.
I am listening to the program now, but shouldn't the file continue recording until the file has been played? The program should last 1.5 hours. I have a hard time understanding how 40 megs would represent enough space for such a length.

RMC can download on-demand videos faster than in real time.
Well, that does it! Very cool. Thanks for clearing this up for me. :)
