Both are recording the full size videos to little tiny finished copies. When I use the VLC or Windows media player to expand, which usually works if done just right. To make things more readable/viewable.... everything is blurry. The teeny video doesn't have any blur, but details including subtitles are too small to be of any use.
And, all this happened today. My computer has not had an update, and these have been installed on my computer for a month. Even the browser freeze issue got fixed two weeks ago.
