Problem with file converted after record

Using Record Audio from Speaker (Quick Audio Record). The original audio lasts about 5 minute, and the "converted after recording" is only 1:30. How could I fix it?

Well, then finally the Replay Audio Driver doesn't work anymore. It used to be ok, no settings changed. And now when I record with the method, the VU meter isn't even turning on. What's the prob?

People need more info to help you. What link are you recording, what version of windows are you using as an example.
