I can't hear when I'm recording

I can record streaming audio with replay music but I don't hear anything at the time. Afterwards when I play it back I get audio just fine.Before I got this I was using the ask and record toolbar with no problems but it was cutting off the first second or two of each song. Does anyone know what my problem is?

I'm afraid I'm confused by what you mean when you say you can't hear when you are recording. Do you have your computer set to mute? I am not able to duplicate this issue and haven't had it reported before.
