Hi all

Up till yesterday I was able to happily record Kelby Training streams, however today it won't capture them, has anyone else come across this ? Works fine with youtube etc.

Thanks

KelbyTraining has changed the way that they stream. I am waiting for the developer to confirm, but it appears that they are using an encrypted format. You will need to use Replay Video Capture.

Is that it?? I just purchased this suite for $79 so I could take some lessons on the road with me.

And, I can't get Video Capture to work on my computer.

Have you opened a support ticket so that tech support can help you?

Don't worry, because Applian offers a 30-day unconditional money-back guarantee.

What OS do you use? Do you have Windows Media Center?

I'm using XP MCE SP3

I did get Video Capture to work but the audio is really bad to the point of not being usable, and, not nearly as easy as Media Catcher.

Hope the developers will get RMC to work with Kelby Training again. Screen recording isn't the method of choice for me :(

I hope Replay Media Capture works again soon with Kelby training.Think the advertising got Kelby Training suspicious??

Pls confirm if your company will be coming up with a Replay Media Catcher fix for this problem. If yes, I'll wait for the fix. If not, I'll get busy looking elsewhere for a media catcher that does work.

It is not possible to have Media Catcher capture RTMPE streams. (http://www.applian.com/replay-media-catcher/support/secure-rtmp-measures.php)

On my "large PC", there's running 3.11. On my notebook I've installed 3.02.

Here's the prob:
I've recorded on my notebook Kelbytraining several times. Since a few day's, it's impossible. But on my PC it's working.

Now I made a upgrade to 3.11 on my notebook too. But there is no change.

How can I get the same result on both systems?

I have used IE8 but without any success. I tried Firefox, Safari, Chrome..no success. :( I will probably have to look at another application that will allow me to record from KelbyTraining.com.

1. Uninstall Adobe Flash
http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/141/tn_14157.html

2. Get Flash Player 10.0.22.87 for non IE browser
Try google to find it, install it

3. Start Firefox + RMC

4. Happy Capturing again

Works on some other RTMPE enabled sites too.

Sh*t, today this method stoped working. RMC 3.11 isn't capturing from KT anymore. Anyone have a new suggestion how to capture the stream and NOT to screenrecord the video?

Same problem here. Perhaps I try rmptdump the next day's. If this will not work, the only chance ist to record them.

News: You can capture the stream via rtmpdump (http://stream-recorder.com/forum/rtmpdump-f54.html). I've checked the commandline-version. Now I've to try to get it done with RMC. BTW: The online-help is not useful.

More to come.

After some tests:
rtmpdump will download Kelbytraining, but I can't find the URLs in the browsers memory.

I found a product, which will download the stream: {rot13}jjj.trgsyi.arg{/rot13}
But it's a kind of a browser. I would not input my log-in-name and -password to this product.

So I switched to Video-Caputre. Quality is good.
