I have Vista 64 and am trying to capture QuickTime video streams. Whenever I try to capture something I get a short message in the status window (after starting the stream) that says CONNECTING, then it goes idle. There is a 25k QT icon in the download folder that I can click on and start the resident QT viewer, which then plays the video stream.
Does RAV use a later version of embedded QT to view the stream? I can't use any of the capture functions with QT, but other media does fine. :confused:
Another thing: for some reason I have to use no later than QT Player ver 7.55, or else I get a black video screen - audio is fine. I should add this is an HP Pavillion desktop with AMD quad core processor, if that makes a difference.
