I have a problem with refreshes of the browser page crashing RMC, while it is recording. It can be an explicit refresh (might take a number of times), or the page internally refreshing, based on the "expires" tag. I have reproduced this problem with IE, Firefox, Chrome, and Real Player, under XP. They are flash rtmp streams. The actual streams will go away today, but it seems to be a general phenomenon. This is with my new 3.02, freshly reinstalled version.

this is really an unusual problem as you've already tried different browsers with it. let's just wait for them to read this and i know they go over this one quickly

Try to update your flash player.

All those different browsers install their own plug-in, which would have been the most recent version of Flash. I'm a Flash developer, so a) I know my Flash install is valid, and b) I'm not about to try trial and error for no other reason than you can't think of anything else.

I updated the flash player and then found a 9th version that was working for me, as mentioned in the following thread
Media Catcher 3.01 locks up my browsers (https://forum.applian.com/showthread.php?t=738)
That's because I was willing to solve the problem.

"I know my Flash install is valid" - I have no idea what this means.
