Hi,
Can anyone tell me how to record streaming audio from J. River Media Jukebox?

Thanks,

Robin

I'm not familiar with that. With Replay Music you do start recording first and then go to what you want to capture. See if that makes a difference.

What site are you trying to stream from. I use JRiver and works fine with Replay music.

The product I'm referring to is J River Media Jukebox. If you haven't heard of it I'd recommend you try it out. The sound quality is the best I've heard and I like the database too - really fast on lookups. And it's free. I'm trying to record from Sleepbot - they supply either a pls file or else you can use shoutcast, either way it doesn't seem to work with MJ. I can record the same site using Winamp, I'd just rather not use Winamp. I figure I may need to add a plug in, but its not obvious what to use.

See if this works for you.

Open Music
Select Start Recording
Our dialog box comes up
At the bottom it says to record from a website
Select that and our page comes up
Go back to the dialog box and select OK
Now, go to what you want to record.

No success with this method. The end result is the same, which is that Media Jukebox opens the pls file and starts playing. As I say, if I use Winamp, it works fine.
