What is the longest continuos recording I can make with Replay 8 AV? I believe 32 bit windows is limited to 2GB files; if I record in mp3 format this would imply a very long time, but I'm not sure if mp3 recording genuinely records in mp3, or records in wav and then converts to mp3 at the end. If the latter then the maximum recording time is much shorter.

Perhaps someone at Applian can answer this?

Thanks very much for your help.

If you have AV set up to do a stream capture then it is recording in the native format at the native bitrate. It varies with each stream that people capture as each one is different. I do know that there are people that often record for 6 to 8 hours without a problem and basically it is dependent on how much your system can handle. Experiment and see how much your computer can handle.

yes. we have different computers so basically that means each one of us have different capacities for recording.

You can also split your recordings (See the Splitting tab), so you can basically record as long as your hard drive allows.
