I've sent this to support also

I downloaded this thinking it was an update, but it is actually version 8.52C
I reported this issue some time back, but got no reply.

http://www.applian.com/download_and_subscribe.php?product=Replay%20AV&list=RAX&file=RAVSetup.exe&return_url=/replay-av

also it still does not seem to parse the %programfiles% variable, choosing to create a directory drive:\program files\replay 8 AV

I would expect it to install in drive:\program files(x86)\replay 8 AV on my 64bit system.

however it does install the converter in the correct place
C:\Program Files (x86)\Replay Converter 3

Then it fails on the winpcap, saying that it is not supported by this version of windows. However there has been a 64bit verison of winpcap for a while now, 4.02 which seems to work fine.

I reported this same issue a while back, I think you should get it working properly before windows 7 comes out.

We plan to have AV working before the formal version of Windows 7 has been released. Thanks.

Any update on this as I'm still having trouble and the final release is now getting closer?

Windows7 has not made it to (GOLD) or RTM. I highly doubt that many companies are going to release something prior to GOLD or RTM.

You will find that the program works in Windows 7 except for the WinPCap file. We are waiting on that. We do plan to have it all workng when Windows 7 is out at the end of October.
