I use R-AV8.43 to capture BBC radio streams. Until last week that is. Now it appears that the streams are no longer detected by Stream Capture. I've verified this problem on several XP machines, both virtual and real.
Any ideas if this can be fixed?

They have changed the way they stream. This works in some casses-depending on where you are located.

When you play something, it defaults to "Dial-up modem version: OFF" within the BBC iPlayer Radio Console. If you click on this, to turn it "ON", you will then find it streams the same stuff, but in a form AV8 can identify. The iPlayer Radio Console remembers how it was last left in this manner. So now within AV8 use the URL Finder under Tools, and go and play a Listen Again programme. It will open up as a RealPlayer feed and you can then see in it AV8 and save and name it as it always used to be done.

You are also able to use audio capture and you might want to give our Replay Media Catcher (http://www.applian.com/replay-media-catcher/demo.php)program a try as it uses a different method of capturing.

I find it often gets the wrong url.
look on beebotron.org for urls
http://beebotron.org/index.php?reload

e,g, BBC radio 4 ra is
http://www.replay-video.com/user/redirect_station.php?id=6366&format=REAL

Often I find the converter fails for some unknown reason

or look at the get_iplayer page for hints.
