RMC stops recording

I am trying to capture a video that is in .asf format. When the capture gets to 181.96mb stops recording and shows a light bulb icon then a green check. When I try to play i get an error that it doesn't recognize the file format. The file is not complete. The video is playing only 10min.

Try changing the file extension from .asf to .wmv. Sometimes this will allow the file to play properly. If this doesn't work, I would recommend trying Replay AV (http://applian.com/replay-av/demo.php) on this site. This is a better program for downloading Windows Media streams.
