plays at 2x and cannot convert

recorded flv file plays in flvplayer but at about 2 times the normal speed. When i try to convert to any format, it says completed but no new file is made.

Open Media Catcher
Click on tools - settings
Make sure Capture Flash RTMP streams is highlighted
Click Plug-in options
The second box is the FLV timestamp increment, you may need to play with this a little, but usually set it around 500 for live streams.

Not all files are capable of being converted. you might try downloading the demo of Replay Converter and see if this will work better for you.
