I'm trying to record the archive webcast at the following site, from the U.S. Senate:
http://commerce.senate.gov/public/index.cfm?FuseAction=Hearings.Hearing&Hearing_ID=9ba25fea-5f68-4211-a181-79ff35a3c6c6

RMC 3 records a 0 byte file, saying:

Internal error while trying to download RTMP stream
Exception:
m_nErrType = 5
m_strDesc = "Connection was closed by remote host"

RAV8.5's URL finder doesn't even find anything. Is this one of the protected streams? I'd be astonished if the U.S. Senate is protecting its video streams. Or could it be a too-restrictive corporate firewall?

No, that link is not using any protection measures.

Although, I get the same error as you when using RMC.

However, I was able to get the URL and download the file directly:

rtmp://fms.senate.gov/Committee/<break>/vCommFiles/commerce021209

U-S- Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, & Transportation.flv

Thanks so much! I can't seem to get the link to work, though. Could be the break and the odd "&" in the file name. Check your private messages--I sent you one. If you could help me out with this, I'd be really appreciative.
