Wifi downloads but not ethernet

Using rmc 6. I never had problems with ethernet connection before. Recently when opening a stream nothing happens on ethernet but will work on my much slower wifi connection. What setting may be affecting this so I can resume using ethernet connection? Thanks

It could be the firewall that your connection has. Make sure the program is allowed.

I just checked RMC and my browser are both allowed. Is there an internal setting which could be the problem. I've used it through ethernet most of the time and now somethings changed.
No clues?
