Have you tried a reboot to correct the issue? If that does not work have you tried an uninstall, reboot, and fresh install? Another option is to upgrade to the latest version. If you still have an issue do contact tech support so they can assist.

I have restarted my system and that did absolutely nothing. I reinstalled the program, and then restarted which I'm able to open but now I'm not able to record from pretty much any website.

At this point you do need to contact tech support. You will need to give them details as to your system, version number, etc. Thanks.
