Newby problem (hopefully)

Could only find some fairly old posts with the problem I'm having with Media Catcher (5.0.1.54)

I almost always get 2 copies of each video. Well that sure beats getting NONE but it's a but of extra hassle to filter out the keepers.

Curiously, I worked for a week or more without this happening. So likely to either be the result of an update - or something else I changed in my browser (I use IE or Chrome on Win 8.1 and it happens with both).

Suggestions are welcome (unless they relate to my parentage or my IQ).

Are you converting the file? If so that is why you have two. Also, if the file shows up with more than one bitrate you could receive more than one. A suggestion is to close the browser page once it starts to download. Others
will have different solutions as well.

My conversion settings say that I have no conversion setting.
Also, the two files are identical sizes (and of course, have the same extension.
