Louder

Is there any application in the suite that can take an existing mp3 file and re-record it louder? Or doesn't it work like that?

The programs are not meant to record them at a louder level. You might try it with Replay Video Capture (audio only) or Replay Music and see if it does. If you turn your volume to the max on your system it might change it and make it louder.
