Replay Media Catcher configuration is preventing me from running a Windows 7 Image backup of my C: drive. This error occurs:

Backup encountered a problem while backing up file C:\Windows\System32\config\systemprofile\Dropbox\A pplian\Replay Media Catcher. Error:(The system cannot find the path specified. (0x80070003))

I uninstalled both Replay Media Catcher and Dropbox then rebooted, but the error still occurs. I did a CHKDSK to no avail.

I searched the registry for Replay Media Catcher but it does not occur. I searched my C: drive for Replay Media Catcher but nothing occurs.

Where is this mysterious path coming from if it is not in the folder structure nor the registry?

I'd appreciate any help. Thanks.

If those folders and file don't exist, - and there is no reason they should - I would do hard disk tests, starting with Chkdsk. It seems like bad pointers.

Thanks for replying. As I mentioned in my notes, I did indeed perform a CHKDSK. It did not help.
