Just as the topic says -what's YOUR favorite website (audio or video) to record from with Replay Media Catcher (http://applian.com/replay-media-catcher/).

I know it's boring, but for me it's youtube - can't ever go wrong with that!

Got any new/hot sites to share that you're recording using RMC? :)

Hi Jeff

This is actually a good idea for a tread, so itīs a shame, that nobody is coming with ideas or suggestions.

I would say, that RMC is the best program to record from Spotify (http://applian.com/how-to-record-download-capture/Spotify.html).

For download i record from WIMP (http://www.wimp.com/), and RMC gives very good results.

Note from Admin, Replay Music (http://applian.com/replay-music/) ALSO works with spotify :-)

And it works fantastic with RDIO as well. But you should select download in stead of recording, as RMC suggests (!!??).

You mentioned recording youtube as being the most fun. I upgraded to rmc 5 for that reason alone but today I getting a youtube video (using 3 different browsers) and nothing was captured. Has something changed or have others been able to do this successfully in the last day?

I used Replay Media Catcher with YouTube today without an issue. Do give it another try and if you continue to have an issue make sure you are using the latest version and do contact tech support

Hey Sam, I just tested RMC and it worked fine with multiple Youtube Videos. Was there a PARTICULAR youtube video you were trying to capture? I know the VEVO one's are encrypted and not recordable by RMC, but 99.99% of videos on youtube ARE able to be captured by it. :)

Let's see the URL please, i'll see if I can duplicate your issue or not!

I'm so sorry about the delay Sam, didn't get a notification that you responded :(

Actually, I did test the video and was able to record it just fine.

If you're NOT, try clearing your browser cache completely, and/or try another internet browser. If you're STILL having issues, contact support (http://applian.com/support.php)please

Thanks for trying it. Before getting into tech support I wanted to ask if you have customers in Germany? Because that's where I am right now and it always defaults to youtube.de rather than my normal youtube.com in the states. I just tried all 3 browsers (firefox, chrome, ie) again and no luck.

A suggestion is to log out and go to what you want without signing in. See if that works for you.

We sure do - but really, this thread was meant more to be FUN not tech support. Do you mind contacting support if you're having an issue with recording from youtube? :-)

Nope, on IExplorer,Firefox and Chrome that didn't work either. But thanks for the suggestion. The only time its worked over here was when there was a Youtube video on another website. So somehow the website referring it got over whatever the problem is with Youtube directly. However, I just tried it again with an embedded Youtube video: http://www.ap.org/explore/ww1/ but no capture.
