Replay Music 6, Windows 8, Tagging fails most of the time

I would love to fix my set up so it tags correctly. I am using the spotify application on my laptop. It only has 2 tracks of 8 with tag information. I am using the 5.0 second silence file in between every song on the spotify playlist. Do I need to run this in compatability mode or something?
