Possible to record from computer's dvd player?

Is it possible to use this product to record audio from a dvd being played on your computer's dvd player?
If yes are there any special formatting of settings that need to be done to have it work properly?

Actually it should work. Do try it and let us know how you do. Use a player such as the VLC Player to play the original file.

It works on my PC as long as I choose windows audio driver, for playing the CD I used both Media Player & Media Monkey and it works on both.
