After I installed the new version o Norton Internet Security 21.0.1.3 in my Windows 8 Pro With Media Center, running in a Dell Inspiron i5 laptop, the Replay Media Catcher 5.0.1.7 stopped working, although it opens normally, but don't record any kind of video or audio streming.

I already tried "uninstall all of Replay Media Catcher 5 and the network monitors that you see in your control panel - winpcap and Applian network driver and reboot. Then during the installation, please use the "recommended" installation and reboot", but this didn't work.

I went to the settings of Norton Internet Security 21.0.1.3 and put in rules "allow" to make sure Replay Media catcher (jrmcp.exe) is allowed to access the internet, but this didn't work too.

I'm waiting for a new version of Replay Media Catcher that fix this problem. Thanks in advance.

Possibly, it may be just a coincidence. But try to disable Norton and see if this is still the same behavior. https://imagicon.info/cat/14-16/1.gif

I'm suddenly having trouble recording Cam4 shows...has always worked before.

I also have NIS 21 &^ RMC 5.01.7 (I re-installed an earlier version of 5 but no change).

Several members of a forum I'm on say RMC 4 5 are working for them.

Disabling NIS did not help.

Later today I will try RMC4 .

Cam4 is working fine - tested just a few days ago with RMC 4 and 5 (at the same time even) :)

Let us know how your progress goes - we may need you to contact support and work with them directly if you're not able to get it working this round :)

Well I tried an earlier version of RMC 5 & it did not capture.

I just re-installed v 4. 45 & voila! it works (tho I had forgotten how to use it already!) -- with NIS 21.

I will write Appian support.

I started to write support...as I did various suggestions popped up.

Configuring WinPcap etc as per this page did the trick
https://replaymediacatcher.zendesk.com/entries/24116833-WinPCap-vs-Network-monitoring
&
https://replaymediacatcher.zendesk.com/entries/23543378-Nothing-is-being-captured-from-the-internet-What-is-wrong-
&
http://applian.com/replay-media-catcher/support/user_guide5#monitor

So v 5 is working fine again.
