It isn't in the recycle bin, where is it?

Tell me that you don't just throw out the pointer to a deleted file. That is tacky. I don't think I clicked, not even hovered, just passed though and the file is gone. I am EXTREMELY

When you delete a file it asks if you permanently want to delete it. If you do then it does not go into the recycle bin. Thanks.
