I recently bought replay music 5.0 and have been using it for spotify (premium), everything has been working great other than I have a continuous crackling in the background of ALL recordings! this is quite annoying:(, I'm not sure if its something with the settings or not. Can anyone help me with this? Thanks!!

I've been having a somewhat similar problem where Replay Music cuts a few seconds right in the middle of the recording. I've had to rerecord a lot of files off Spotify. If the problem continues, I'm returning it because Spotify is all I use it for.

Are you using the win audio driver or the audio driver? Have you turned off system sounds if using the win audio driver? Have you tried to turn down the volume of what you are recording? Thanks.

I've had much better luck recording Spotify using audio driver rather than win audio driver and by turning off tagging and normalizing. There still is some distortion and some unexplained gaps but those may be the fault of normal network snafus rather than Replay Music.

I have tried all of that and am using win audio drive.

Hi Jr81rox,
Open Replay Music, click settings and then you will see Input source under the Input Tab, click the drop down arrow and you will see the option for Audio Driver there, highlight it and then click OK at the bottom.
Let me know if you need more help.

I experienced the same problem described in the original post. However version 5.50 which was released this week seems to have corrected the problem. Recorded sound is crystal clear now.

Thank you for letting us know it is working for you. The developer worked hard on this.
