Replay Music and Transferring to the NEW itunes?

Is anyone else finding that it is taking a lot longer to transfer songs to the NEW itunes?
Anyone found a solution or also experiencing this?

In testing I'm not having this issue. I do know that you need to make sure that iTunes is closed when transferring files.
