Hello all...

This is just to let you all know that I have updated Replay Media Catcher to handle the new Flash Player 10. From here on out, there will be no need to downgrade to Flash Player 9.

To make sure the updates are installed succesfully:
1) Make sure you see an update when you start Media Catcher for plugin_zrtmp.dll to version 5.0.6.9 and the Gopher.DLL to version 3.0.6.9
2) Check the Help>>About menu and find the Gopher.DLL listing and make sure it says 3.0.6.9:
http://applian.com/replay-media-catcher-updates/img/gopher_update.png
3) If it still says 2.0.6.9, then you will need to reboot your computer.

That should do it... Update your Flash player to 10 and enjoy!
-andy.

Hey,

I've got the same problem. I'm trying to download from www.fabchannel.com.

Used to work perfectly, but today it doesn't work anymore. Can anyone help out?

Tnx

I have updated to flash player 10 and I am having the same problems as everyone on this forum. I would like to reinstall flash player 9 but don't know how to get it as Adobe only makes 10 available. I also notice that Sticky had ver .5.0.6.9 of plugin_zrtmp.dll while my version changed to 5.2.6.9. could this be whats preventing RMC from working with flash player 10. If so how to we get version 5.0.6.9 of plugin_zrtmp.dll?:rolleyes:

I would like to reinstall flash player 9 but don't know how to get it as Adobe only makes 10 available.I don't think it will help in the situation you describe but Flash Player 9 (http://www.adobe.com/go/kb406791) is still available at Adobe. Note the separate downloads for Internet Explorer and non-Internet Explorer. Here is Flash uninstallation help (http://kb.adobe.com/selfservice/viewContent.do?externalId=tn_14157).

It appears to me the changes at Fabchannel are unrelated to whichever Flash version is installed or the recent version change to plugin_zrtmp.dll. I tried the possible four combinations of two players and two plugins and none allowed capturing this Fabchannel B-52's live (http://www.fabchannel.com/embed/player.swf?ap=artist.the_b-52_s) stream.

True, in december it still worked. It says in the link below that Fabchannel recently changed the way they stream. Guess that that's why it doesn't work no more. The message is from the 13th of jan, so I hope they come up with a fix soon. It does work with video capture, but all those crappy commercials quickly take the fun out of watching :-s

BTW: downgrading to a lower flashversion doesn't help. I tried.

Hi new here.

I have Flash player 10 installed and im trying to record a stream from atdhe.net and i get this error with v10 installed:

"Internal error while trying to download RTMP stream
Exception:
m_nErrType = 15
m_strDesc = "RTMPE Protocol detected -- Sorry, these RTMP connections are not allowed to be analyzed."
m_strFile = F:\proj32\TestRTMPClient\RTMPStreamRip.cpp
m_nLineNumber = 964"

I think its the v10 cause it will record the same stream if v9 is installed. Yes I have the updated version of RMC

Help!

As the error suggest, we are no longer able to capture these streams. You can read more about this here (http://www.applian.com/replay-media-catcher/support/secure-rtmp-measures.php). We recommend using Replay Video Capture (http://www.applian.com/replay-video-capture/index.php) in these cases.
