Hi. I can't get it to record. I've downloaded Freecorder Version 3.0. In all the tech support stuff I could find, I don't see the same settings.
For some reason I can't get line setting to move to "Master Volume". (I'm just trying to record Internet radio). I have checked both boxes for record from FC audio driver and Windows input device. My device choices are not like any pictures you show. My choices are microphone and digital in. Also Sounds window is different in Vista than in your tutorial. It shows microphone, line-in and digital in. Microphone and Digital in show working, line in not plugged in. Please help!!!!!!!! Thanx............ Lyle |

Are you using the Desktop version Freecorder 2 or the toolbar Freecorder 3. The reason I ask is that you have this in the forum under Freecorder 2 but mention Freecorder 3.
If you are using 2 then: Please see this link for more information regarding Vista. http://www.applian.com/support-vista.php It probably will not work with Vista. Then you would want to use 3. To use 3 you need to turn off your User Account Control under User Accounts. You would then need to start recording first and then go to what you want to capture. |
