Does RVC work with quad core processors?

I have a computer with a quad core Q6600 processor and have been unable to get Replay Video Capture to work. However, I can get it to work on a machine which has less memory and a slower, dual core, T7700. The machines are essentially identical in setups apart from their processors. Both use Vista Home Premium.

I notice that the recommended settings contain settings only for single core and dual core processors. Does this mean that the software is not designed to work with a quad core processor?
