First of all, Freecorder 2 is an excellent prg once all the settings have been correctly configured.
However, I have one small problem: Although the name of the song file correctly corresponds to the sound file being played, the title displayed in MS Media Player is wrong. In fact, the displayed title is typically the name of the file previously played. Apparently, its an artifact left over from the previous recording session. This can be fixed by going into Properties>Summary and changing it there. But shouldn't the name in Properties>Summary be the same as the file being played? Can this be fixed? Thanks in advance for your reply. Jim Last edited by JRG3; 10-25-2008 at 01:03 PM. |

We are aware that this does happen in some cases. Have you tried to name your file at the end of the recording session to see if that corrects the issue. Thanks.

Well, that's the way I do it. I make the recording then name it. Am I the only one who has reported this? I would think it would be fairly ubiquitous. Perhaps its a custom setting on the PC...
