Default FFDSHOW in systray

Every time I run replay converter, there are two ffdshow icons in my systray. Is this normal?

Absolutely! Those are audio/video codecs (one audio, one video).

Don't be alarmed and DON'T delete them!

Default What about when running WMP?

When I run Windows Media Player (to play an MP3 in this case), I get two FFDSHOW icons in the systray.

When my son (who is a "limited" user in WinXP) runs it to do the same thing, he gets *five* of them!

Is there a way to make it not do that, at least for WMP? (The last thing I need to do is explain it to my wife...)

P.S. - If it's related, after I installed A/V + Converter + Splitter + Catcher, all was working fine for me (I have admin rights). When my son (limited user) ran them, he had to re-enter the key, and one program (A/V) came up with two "registry error" dialogs (they appeared again when he ran File->Settings).
