Using microphone as playback device
Many new laptops are coming with the microphone playback capability disabled and no way to monitor the microphone input in real time. This is something very handy for Karaoke use and using the pc as a mixer, or for listening to your voice in real time in the headphones. If you are talented enough to produce this software to allow recording the stereo mix, this should be possible! Or maybe you already have this feature somewhere and I just don't see it. I have a Vista HP dv9000 series laptop with Conexant audio and this is just not possible now due to the driver for Vista. Can you help here? Thanks!
