Windows Media Player is NOT able to play FLV files, what you need is the FLV player.

Download this player from our website, and try opening the files with that one. This should solve your problem!

Free FLV PLayer

If this does not fix your problem however, worry not! We'll still be here.

yes, WinAmp cannot play flv files. The best thing to do is to download the file given by our admin and test it on your pc.

Not to confuse the issue, but I recently installed the K-Lite Codec pack and now my Vista WMP11 is playing flv files. Winamp, too. Not completely sure if it's 100% compatible with Applian products, but time will tell.

WMP with K-Lite codec pack is pretty good at playing FLV files. Although I prefer to use freeware Applian FLV Player. Sometimes I also use VLC, SMPlayer to play flv files.

K-Lite codec pack is great, but please remember that if you use any audio video editing software, a codec pack can cause lots of problems. I suggest to use a player with built-in codecs like VLC instead.
