Yesterday, I downloaded software to try out. Yesterday, it worked fine. Today, A/V won't open, converter and player does open. My os is Vista Home Premium. Any ideas?

Please try a reboot of your system to see if that works. If that doesn't correct the issue.
On Windows Vista, or in some cases with XP, the Data Execution Prevention feature of Windows causes Replay A/V and other programs to crash. Here's how you can turn off Data Execution Prevention: Click Start. Select Control Panel (or Settings, Control Panel if you're on Vista) On Vista, select Classic View. Double click System On Vista, Select Advanced System Settings Click the Advanced tab In the Performance region select Settings Click the Data Execution Prevention tab Select Turn on DEP essential Windows Programs and Services only Click OK Reboot If you still have an issue please submit a ticket to technical support. Thanks. |
